Its official name is the « Syndicat d'initiative de Châtillon en Diois ». It is an association regulated by the 1901 law.
The office was created in 1932.
It is part of the departmental and national federations of tourist offices. The tourist office of Châtillon is also a member of the « Association des Offices du Tourisme et Syndicat d'initiative du Diois ».
Its action concerns all the villages of the district, namely Châtillon, Boulc, Glandage, Menglon, Saint Roman and Treschenu-Creyers with the exception of Lus la Croix Haute.
Its mission consists in welcoming and informing the tourists as well as promoting the development of tourism in the area.
All the documentation available, whether it be about the hiring, housing, camping grounds, hotels, restaurants and sites of the Diois are published by the tourist information center of Die. The Châtillon office provides visitors with information about the village and its district, and also publishes small booklets with routes for mountain bikes, bicycles and walks.
The office only hires an employee during the high season (July and August). The rest of the year, opening hours are held by voluntary workers. It is also thanks to voluntary workers that the trails are marked and kept clean.

Opening hours :

April May June September October: on Friday 9 AM to 12; on Saturday from 3 to 5 PM; on Sunday from 10 AM to 12PM.

July-August : from Monday to Saturday, 9AM-12PM, 3 PM-7PM.
On Sunday, 9AM-12PM.

From November to March, on Friday, 9AM-12PM.
